The Rare Zebra Returns and Shipping Policy
Please make sure to carefully read our returns and shipping policies.
We understand that sometimes purchases don’t work out, therefore we have a comprehensive returns policy.
Regardless of your payment method, The Rare Zebra will accept returns within 14 days of the receipt of purchase. The item(s) must be in their original packaging with all tags attached, and show no signs of wear. The buyer is responsible for return shipping. However, The Rare Zebra can provide a shipping label to email to the purchaser at a discounted rate. Custom orders are NOT ELIGIBLE for returns unless the items is damaged or broken upon receipt of delivery. Purchases made with store credit are not eligible for refunds. The Rare Zebra offers refunds in the form of exchange or store credit for purchases within 14 days of receipt of purchase made through the following means:
- Major credit card such as Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, etc
- Google Pay (also referred to as G-Pay)
- Apple Pay
- PayPal
For purchases financed through the payment merchant, Klarna, in addition to exchanges and store credit, a refund back to Klarna is offered per Klarna Terms of Service. Within 14 days of the receipt of purchase. The item(s) must be in their original packaging with all tags attached and show no signs of wear. Final Sale items are not eligible for store credit.

For non custom made items that are damaged through no fault of the customer (it arrived damaged or broken), The Rare Zebra will send the customer a prepaid shipping label and offers exchange, store credit, or a full refund to the customer’s original form of payment with in 14 days of receipt of purchased items. For custom made items, The Rare Zebra will provide either an exchange or store credit.
In order to initiate a return, please email hello@therarezebra.com with your order number and name. For regular returns for exchange or store credit, please specify if you would like to purchase a shipping label at a reduced price through The Rare Zebra, or if you will provide your own shipping label otherwise it will be assumed the customer will be responsible for obtaining a return shipping label. For items that are damaged or broken, due to no fault of the customer, please specify the damage in detail. The Rare Zebra reserves the right at anytime without notice to decline a refund, and in return issue a store credit if it is found that items claimed to be broken or damaged are the result of the customer.

The Rare Zebra Shipping Policy
At The Rare Zebra, getting your package to you in a timely manner is very important to us. We work hard to get your order packaged quickly and efficiently, along with partnering with major carriers like USPS, UPS, and FedEx to suit your shipping needs. Most non custom orders ship within 2-3 business days with the exception of major holidays where order ship within 3-5 business days.
Custom orders ship within 7-28 business days depending on the custom order. The following is a breakdown of estimated custom order ship times. Please note that while we strive to ship your custom order to you as quickly as possible, ship time will vary, and the following is an ESTIMATE ONLY. Jewelry: 2-4 weeks after receipt of deposit
Headbands and Scrunchies: 7-10 business days
ID/Card Holders: 7-10 business days

THE RARE ZEBRA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS IN CARRIER DELIVERY TIMES. It’s important you keep track of your package. Unfortunately, we have no control over carrier delivery times. All packages are insured automatically up to $100USD.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
